Blender Pen Refill Recipe
from Stampin Art
1 oz. glycerin
2 oz. distilled water
3/4 teaspoon rubbing alcohol
OR
2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons glycerin
5 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon rubbing alcohol
Step 1:
Either buy the blender refill or make one of the two recipes above. A little goes a very long way.
Step 2:
Gently pull the tips out of the pen (both ends). Some people use tweezers. I have no problem just grabbing it with my fingers. If you do use tweezers, be very careful. You don't want to mar the tip.
Step 3:
Soak the tips in the fluid (step 1). Some say to soak them overnight, others say for a few hours. It may depend on how dry they are.
Step 4:
Gently (always gently with these tips) push one tip back into the marker. Now place a few drops of the fluid into the pen. You have to be very careful here as the marker is so narrow, large drops won't make it in. You need to use an eye-dropper or something similiar to get the drops in.
Step 5:
Gently put the other tip back in and you're read to go.
