After the Holiday...THANKS!

 Using colors inspired by Sale A Bration 2015, I stamped this card using a die that I purchased from the Big Box store, and then used SAB papers and stamps! 

It's not a (legal) card to post but I love the flip it dies that we have in our catalog, and this is the same idea...

I think you'll see why I love this card, and the die...the cute scallop edge makes it very sweet!

Making gift labels for packages using this sweet stamp set!  I am simply loving this set...

Birthday Celebrations!

I saw this one on pinterest, and thought I have to make this one! I used whisper white cardstock stamped in black, and then restamped it in Marina Mist.

I cut out the marina mist banner, and attached it on top of the black water colored die cut (apothecary dies). and then attached a HELLO HONEY ribbon to it!

The background paper is from the new Occasions Catalog, called Birthday Bash, and this sheet has teeny gold flecks.  This paper is not double sided but oooh, it's pretty!

Winter is here....but you make my heart warm!

When I saw this set, I thought...another tree...but wow, is it another TREE! 

I love making things with the other Lovely as a Tree set, but this one is Fun!

wait till you see what can be done with this set!

stamped the "leaves" with Luminescent ink and then dusted it with Micropearl to give it a shimmer

I love this...

don't you think it makes you feel like winter is here?

Winding down to Christmas!

It has been a long time since the last time I posted...I don't have as much time for posting...lately

but I did have a Mason Jar class..and it was fun!  This is one of the jars we did..

filled it with frosted pretzels!  cute snowman!

Christmas is coming, and I have already sent out most of my cards...(80 of them!)...and not hand stamped but used my My Digital Studio program!

Lost lagoon sounds like a funny color to stamp a Christmas card in, but I used it to create this one...with the Letterpress Winter set from the Holiday Catalog!  It sort of matches the snowflake in the Snowflake card thinlets....I repeatedly stamped it on white cardstock to create the background, and then used ink around the edges....glittered up with the glitter cardstoc, and tied with Lost Lagoon ribbon.

Sympathy card...Circle flip card

 

The St. Lawrence River (NY), the other side is Canada

this is a whirlpool that swirls around.  There is a Gondola on the Canadian side that goes across the whirlpool, but stays on the Canadian side. 

 Stamped the trees in Early Espresso and then sponged Wasabi around the edges and the "grass" area, and Soft Sky in the "sky" area.  This really is prettier in person..

Snowflake Flip Card

I know I haven't posted in a while..busy this last month, traveling and having a fun time back east, and getting my daughter off for her last year in college!

it has gone by fast!..and yikes! it's getting closer to Christmas!

 I love the new die!  This is a snowflake flip die that makes this fun card! 

The snowflake set coordinates perfectly..of course, and I used the pretty designer papers and recut using the die to make it fit the card!

Now that summer is over, school is in session, and vacations are a memory..

Stamping on Dominoes!

 one of the things I did at the stamp convention, was to stamp on Dominoes.  It was only 2.00 and I got to use the adirondak inks (alcohol inks).  So I decided to buy some dominoes and stamp, and color using our Blendabilities markers.  It worked! 

All you need is...
Markers
Rubbing Alcohol
Qtips or cotton squares
Stazon Ink
Rubber stamps
Wipes

crystal effects

 I colored the dominoes using the alcohol and the Blendabilities Markers.  The alcohol blends the colors together.  Using StazOn ink - ink up your image and carefully stamp, making sure you don't slide.  Hold your domino so it won't go up with your stamp.

 after you stamp the image, let it dry and then add a few drops of crystal effects. You can add glitter if you like (I didn't do it with these dominoes).  Spread it with your fingers.

Masculine-ish card...

 Making masculine cards aren't easy - especially since I don't usually have a need to make one

but....I decided that I really like this stamp set (Wetlands).

I used my brayer and masked the goose to create the background..

Rubber stamp convention July 2014

 Tim Holtz, as usual had a busy booth...the first time I couldn't get into this area because there were so many people trying to pay...yikes...this came out blurry but I love this bunny stamp!

 can't get enough word stamps!  (didn't buy but love it!)

 ...and along the way, we saw Kat Okamoto talking to....NEWMAN!  (from Seinfeld and other movies)....

 learning that some people have over 20,000 stamps...and choosing between their husbands, and their stamp collections....he didn't get it.....

oh well!

Happy Birthday....using clear stamps!

 These 2 sets are clear stamps! I think I am really liking them more. Everyone else has been tooting about them and how easy it is to line up and use...and I wasn't happy with some of the ones you can buy in the big box stores, but these new ones by Stampin' Up! are really nice.  They cling to the clear mounts really nicely and you can see where you stamp them!

This card is going to my friend, who's birthday is tomorrow..I'm late.  It's been a hectic week..and I almost forgot to send it! I just hope it gets there tomorrow.......yikes!
