Free Construction Cone!

Wow...what can I say! I have been inundated with construction on my streets in my neighborhood!  I guess the city had some $$ that then needed to spend so they decided to change all the pipes for the gas lines.  I thought this would be a cute way to introduce you to some of the free projects on My Digital Studio!

 It's too bad I don't have a son...he would probably be going nuts wanting to watch the guys drive the big trucks and the tractor, pushing the covers for the holes they dug today.

 

let's hope they dig up my driveway but it doesn't look like they will.  it would be nice to get rid of these cracks...

 May's kit was a cool little board covered book that had decorative paper and adhesive elements to customize your book. I added more decorative papers from the This n That series of paper to only the covers (front and back)....

 adding photos to complete it!

 June 2013

 4 cards that had punch out shapes, and adhesive elements to customize your card. I used a stamp from April's kit to also make this more unique plus using a different color ink that coordinated with the papers...and punches to change it a bit...

Using the Simply Sent card kits was a fun and quick way to make some cards that I can now send out to friends... it is a fun way to take 30 minutes out from my day to create some fun projects...

 or to get someone new introduced to Stampin' Up!

Dolled up Birthday Kit available

We asked for kits, so Stampin' Up! has come up with kits!  This is a cute one that you can alter as you wish, but the elements are given to you so you can create multiples of the same card! I am sure you can come up with some fun alterations by adding buttons or lace trim, or die cut edges and ribbon!

Father's Day Cards (#3)

Now these two cards are for my brothers who are great DADs!  They deserve to be recognized for their jobs and for the example they show to their kids.....These 2 cards were my 'experiments' for the card I posted yesterday....I didn't like the green color as much as the blue.....but I couldn't throw my cardstock away...so I decided to stamp it and send it to my brother!

Father's day card #2....

Inspired by what I found on pinterest...brayered background and stamped in black ink

this card is for my boyfriend, who is a dad, but just in case his kids don't send him a card, I wanted to make sure he got one...

Father's Day 2013

 Totally un-traditional and a different card for me to stamp!  I made this for my dad to send, and to wish him a Happy Father's day.  We don't do a lot for dad but hopefully he'll enjoy the card!

I stamped and masked the shells and then colored in with the white gel pen. I was just playing around with it and looks cool! I like playing with my prisma pencils better but this worked ok....
