First Christmas Card Class

Can YOU believe it?!! It's November!  I can't!  It has gone by so fast, and although I have been stamping some, I haven't been blogging....I think that all this social media (facebook) is very time consuming and I have been posting things there...I have a facebook page for my stamping, and even though I haven't posted very much there, it's been more recent than here!  (click on "facebook page")

I have been doing lots of creative projects with more than just paper but also working PT at Michaels has been keeping me in the loop with new and fun ideas!

This is a Sizzix die that I purchased from M-store and I wanted to use my Stampin' Up! to embellish it!
I love the window die and the embossing folders!  Fun Fun Fun!

Remarkable....YOU

Stamping has become harder...
maybe because I am not as focused on it but I have been really missing my
crafting and creating....
Do you feel that way too?
There are times that I can whip out cards..and stamp and create, and knit and sew and be so obsessed with doing that I forget time...but lately because I have been busy with life and working, it is harder for me to make the time to DO!
So tonight, I SAT and I DID.
I even watercolored!  This was inspired by Pinterest! I was able to find something to help me get started!  Be sure to check out Pinterest...and search for "Remarkable You" under Stampin Up!.
You'll love what you find, and maybe it will inspire you to create and stamp or make something fun!

One Sheet Wonder Card Box

One of the things that I like to do, is create gifts.
I like to make items that can go together and make a gift for someone!
One way to create a gift is make cards that coordinate.  They don't necessarily have to match but these do match. It made it quick and easy.  To tie the whole thing together, a box to hold everything including envelopes!

I used the stamp set Garden in Bloom #138433 $25.00 Photopolymer
Easy to do 2 step stamping!
Stamp using Night of Navy (lighter with the flower), Meadow Moss and Delightful Daffodil

Cut apart and layer onto cards.
I used A2 size and 3x3 size cards, and tags.

Stamp sentiments. I used a variety of sets, but this one is from the Garden in Bloom set.
I punched them out and attached a couple of them but basically left them loose in the tag section.
This way, you can create your own cards when you need them!
Still have to make a slider box top for it, and I'll be done!

 What have you been stamping?

Shrinking the happy in birthday!

Remember Shrinky Dinks? We used to stamp on them too a long time ago, and then all of a sudden, that went out of "Vogue".  But I wanted to get a smaller word, and the only way I could do that was to "shrink" my die cut down....so.... When you have to do something like shrink, you pull out your Shrinky Dinks!

So I cut out the word out of WHITE shrink plastic

Coloring it by sponging ink onto the surface after sanding it with an emery board
Shrinking it with a heat gun
after shrinking.  be sure to hold it with a stylus or pliers so you won't get burned

This is how small it will shrink!

Adding it to my card...Happy YOU!
