using the die cut rose and rolling it around to create a cute card perfect for spring!

I used the 2 sets that I liked from SAB and cased it from Pinterest!

changing the colors and the embossing folder....

plus adding a bow!

I think this is just a great way to tweak a card that someone else pinned!

Perfect Blend

 Mixed media like card...having the eclectic blend of collage and texture!  It is a stretch for me to make a card like this but I wanted to make one that was stretching my style!

Texture using the herringbone texture folder

and...the new alphabet stamp! (clear stamp!)

 inside holds a gift card for...guess.......COFFEE!~ duh!

Taking off the gift card, reveals....a THANKS....perfectly blended!

Watercolor Wonder Designer Note Cards

  

My tax person, Carmen is going to get this today from me for my taxes (I also have to pay her of course!)..but just a little goodie to give to her!

The box was made with our Envelope punch maker

and I got the tutorial from the Urban Scrap

I didn't use her exact measurements, but I adapted her measurements 

for the box size that I needed for this project!

People Like You ...Watercolor Note cards!

 

So simple to make...and all prepared for you!

The cards are watercolor pre-printed with the oval in the center and Delightful Daffodil.

I stamped the flower #133215 12.95 People like You in black

and then used sponge daubers in Blushing Bride and So Saffron.

I am going to make these cards for my tax person....I used to bring her Girl Scout cookies but I don't have anyone selling GS cookies any more...so why not stamped cards this year?  (less calories...plus I know Carmen has been trying to lose weight...so I'll help her with these instead!)  Carmen is getting 5 cards...so I can make 3 more gifts for others as well! 

 If you break this down into units, it works out to around 7.50 per person, 

and you can get more cards to use the same stamp set, to make it even less! 

... or if you make 5 sets of 4 cards, you spend 6.00 per person. 

This includes the cost of the stamp (but not inks)

So, the more you make (and buy) the more you save!!!

Make a wish!

 

This is missing something which I'm working on..but I wanted to play with this set, and the dies... The camera doesn't match up with the stamp set (duh, what were they thinking?????)  

That was a huge disappointment but the polaroid frame is way cute!  I love that the arrow and the die matches up...So, camera stamp and die aside, it is a nice way to play with a more masculine card!

Sweeter than the Honey in a honeycomb

"Sweeter than the honey in a honeycomb"

from an African poem...I couldn't copy the rest because it got a little ....erotic...at least it seemed like it... but I wanted to find something that had to do with Honeycombs!

This is the honeycomb die by Stampin' Up! and I used it to punch the smaller hexagons which is a 6 sided shape! 

to offset the geometry, I added the bitty banner "thank you"...and the Petite petals!

Thinlets Card - label

 This is one of the cards we did at the SUPERBOWL Stampin and Sale a Bration!
it is using the Thinlets dies making a flip it card!  We used sponges to make the color pop!

the game we played was LCR  (left center right)

We used the rubber bands instead of money to toss into the basket and around the table
