Mini Albums

SALE A BRATION
STARTS TODAY!!!

Spend 50.00 and get FREE STAMPS!!

I love MINI Albums! I love how cute they are, and how portable they are...they make super cool gifts and they are easy to make!

Using my Bind-It-All, I put together these Rose Red cardstocks after rounding off 2 of the corners. I can always add more pages, but the papers were from the Retired Sweet Pea Designer stack.

All the letters were die cut using my Stampin' Up Sizzlets and the accent color is Baja Breeze.

I used all Black n White photos, and black cardstock for the letters

Celebrate your memories by putting them in a cute little book. If you would like to learn how to make one of these cute books, contact me, and I will design a class all around what you would like it to be!

Adding dates, adds to the memories, and remembering times past, and present!

These photos date us, my daughter and myself. The one in 2005, was taken for our church directory, and the other was taken during the Christmas break at the La Brea Tarpits in Los Angeles....I didn't have any make up on, but oh well, it is what it is!!! My daughter's face sure has changed as she has matured (and yes, I have matured too..ugh) Let's hope the next few years will be kinder!!! sigh....

You're in my heart.....

This phrase reminds me of the song, so as I was making this card, it was going through my mind over and over again! I had this card in my mind so I guess it is only fitting that the song was going through too!!

I stamped the flowers from Fifth Avenue Floral in Early Espresso, and used Marina Mist and So Saffron to watercolor. I masked the flowers to layer them, and used a rhinestone in the center to bring out that one flower!

I think that this is a soft romantic card, and after all the hearts that I have been showing lately, I figure this is another way to say I LOVE YOU to someone special. It can also be a sympathy card, thinking of you card and whatever you want to say to someone...right?

Have a blessed day!

Another Never Ending Card!

I'm having so much fun with this NEVER ENDING CARD! It is like having so many surfaces to decorate!

It all has a cheerful look, and who wouldn't want to feel cheered up after receiving a card like this!

It has some substance, and probably will cost more to send via snail mail but it would be worth the effort...now, if you could only catch the recipient's reaction once they open the card!

STAY TUNED for more Never-ending cards!

....friend

I saw this card on the Stampin' Up! website, in fact, it is on the column to the right, ....I changed it up just a smidge, but basically, the idea is the same..

.........tags.....!

They are so cute!

By adding letters, and other things that have meaning to you, you can create a one of a kind thoughtful friend card!

Now, this isn't entirely one-of-a-kind, but the additions make it more unique and MINE!
Not only did I make the card larger, I also added a embossed scalloped edge, with a ribbon tied. It needed something extra added to it and as soon as I envisioned this, it was really complete!

The bling also is added, and this will be one of my SUPERBOWL SAS BLING CARDS! You won't want to miss this BLING STAMP A STACK cards!!

Reserve your spot NOW!!! Spaces are Limited!!!

Simple and Easy

After working very hard on some really intricate cards, I decided to make a quickie card for one of my projects...
This is so easy, in Pear Pizzaz and Blushing Bride
2 of the NEW In-Colors!
I love how soft they are, and one of the Hostess FREE Gifts is a 6x6 packet of In-Color Designer papers! I decided to use one of my packages to make this card!
I textured only the front of the card, and added the strip of Designer paper. Also, I added the ribbon punch cutting it in 1/2 so it only adds a scalloped edging in Chocolate Chip.
The hearts are punched from Blushing Bride, and the envelope is the scallop punch envelope. I added a small folded square of whisper white, and stamped it with LOVE on the top!
Also added, is a small bow tied with Pear Pizzaz ribbon, and a clip was added to my little note. This card was taken from the Stampin' Success magazine that every demonstrator receives each month! So, you can take your designs from others, and share it in your workshops!!!

Never Ending - My friend

This next month is Valentine's day, and if you have someone special to stamp for (a significant other) that's great!!! BUT...if you're like me and there is no significant other....who or what do you do?

I'm sure you have a special friend who has been the most bestest BFF that you have, and why not send that person a card telling them how much your friendship means to you?

I will be sending out a few of these cards....to friends who have been my BFF's.

This card was featured in the February Stampin' Success newsletter that we, as demonstrators receive each month!

It hasn't been released via mailings yet but it is viewable online! I decided that I would rev up my card-making and make one using some (retired) and not retired products that I have in my stash! I love that this sample (which I copied almost exactly like the one in the newsletter)....uses a lot of punches, and maybe 1 stamp set....but if you really want to jazz it up, it uses 3....
Have fun making a NEVER ENDING CARD! If you want more details contact me, your Stampin' UP! Demonstrator, or....contact a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! HUGS!

Love 4 my Friend!

Another Love card...which can be used for almost anything...birthday, thank you, friendship etc....
Uses punches. LOTS of 3/4" circle punches. I used the designer paper from Elegant Soiree. Can't tell, right? I also got the basic design from the Stampin' Success January Newsletter!
So, you can see that if you think you can't create cards, YOU are never far away from inspiration!
I love that this uses punches. It sure makes creating a card EASY!
You can create this card so easily by just following what is provided for you on the Stampin' Up! website! You can change the colors (because the sample used Early Espresso, and I know my friend Valerie, does not like BROWNS....!!!) So, I changed the colors so you see other colors, not just BROWNS!

Close up, you can also see a pearl BLING!

Thank YOU!

My friend Valerie, always gives me such wonderful gifts! I collect things for her as well, and I think the joy that she brings is that all the items are always so well thought out!

Don't you just love it when someone is so thoughtful? I think that the enjoyment really is in the giving than in the receiving! I received a set of embossing folders, and although they are NOT Stampin' Up!, I can use that NON SU item and incorporate it in my Stampin' Up! cards...at least for a thank you card, right???!!!!! RIGHT!!!

STYLE BEAUTIFUL

So, I embossed the baja breeze top note (1/2) using the embossing folder that she gave me, and I combined it with Whisper white, stamped using the STYLE Beautiful Set. I also added twine and crochet flowers, and added a bling of rhinestones to the center of the flower!

Deck the Halls Fabric

This is late. I wasn't in the mood to sew much during the holidays, so I decided to use up some of the fabrics left over from the DECK the HALLS fabric that Stampin' Up had in their Mini Holiday Occasions catalog!

I cut up the little strips (1") and then sewed them into Log Cabin squares.

Don't look close at my quilting. it is machine quilted, and I still need to finish the binding.
But. I love how cute this mini quilt is! It is perfect for a small wall quilt or for a centerpiece for a table mat!

I {heart} U

Papercrafts Magazine this month had some cool cards for...Valentine's Day! So, I bought the magazine this month, and decided to pull out my supplies to see what I could create! I loved how cute and simple this one was....
I used Pink Pirouette Cardstock, Chocolate Chip designer paper (retired) but you get the idea that you can use chocolate or brown paper
I cut the top note, and embossed it using the texture plates
To create the circles, I punched out Pink Pirouette and Whisper White circles, and then stamped it using Early Espresso classic ink
This is layered on the Love Letter Designer Paper. I attached the circles to the cording (hemp cord) using Rose Red brads (retired). The cord is tied to the card on the sides.
This was done in my Stamp A Stack Class on Sunday Jan 9th! Be sure to NOT miss my next SAS!!!!

Perfect Hydrangeas!

I have a few favorite flowers, the Iris being my number 1 favorite and the Hydrangea being my number 2 favorite! I love roses as well (Sterling Silver which is a light lavendar color!)
I stamped the hydragea in basic black on whisper white cardstock. I then Q-tipped chalk (retired colors, but I haven't upgraded to the new colors yet). I then mounted it on Crumb Cake and Baja Breeze along with the Designer papers from Elegant Soiree. It is a trifold card, tied with a grosgrain ribbon to close!
TODAY IS 1-11-11
make it a special day!

Be my Valentine

I know it isn't Valentine's Day yet, but this is so cute, I just love this stamp! It is a NEW A la Carte stamp from the Spring Mini Occasions catalog! It is so elegant and cute!
I stamped it using Pretty in Pink and then sponging Real Red around the edges. I also stamped it in Real Red and cut out only the banner and words. I layered the words on top using dimensionals

Adding it to a smaller scalloped square that was textured with the dots embossing folder, and then mounting it on Real Red Cardstock on top of Pretty in Pink, and topped with a tied ribbon of Satin Real Red....
so cute!

Iced Cupcakes

I think this is my set that I love the most! I do have other favorites, but the punch is just what I have been waiting for!
I ruched the ribbon by using sticky tape and pleated the ribbon so it looked ruched. It is mounted on a different designer paper (from HOLLY JOLLY)

Up close, you can see the cupcake with the chunky glitter. I punched the cherry from real red, and old olive (just the stem) and then added them together...cute cute cute!
can't have a cupcake without a cherry on top!

More of Elizabeth!

Elizabeth is back...I love Elizabeth. (ok, Elizabeth is a stamp!) I used Elizabeth with these 2 oval stamps. One is the smaller scallop oval, and the other is the wide oval. Both work very well with Elizabeth.

I betcha never really look at the A la Carte stamps! I overlooked them, and I certainly overlooked Elizabeth! But she's a purty stamp, and very much something that I favor...

....light and flirty and delicate! Well, that doesn't describe me but it does describe what I like in style!

Adding them to black cardstock and baja breeze sets a romantic style....
...and now, we're almost done with our first week, into the New Year...I'm so glad to be back to my stamping! I've missed it!!!
