NEED A cool gift card? I got the idea from AMY CELONA....
This is a candy holder/giftcard holder/treat ...etc. I used the word window punch to put the slot to hold the item (in this case...a Gift card for CPK...coordinates perfectly with the chef from Voila! don't you think?) (Amy has great directions on her blog that you can download - FREE!)

I used Old Olive, and then stamped the chef in black on white cardstock, cut him out, and then attached him to the old Olive and used the dish around the window punch so that it looks like he's almost carrying the pizza.....

This one, was a irregular cut card, where I cut the front shorter than the front, so that the chef would hang over the edge. I then highlighted or spotlighted the birthday cake by coloring it in, over the area where the dish would be. I had to stamp the arm and the dish FIRST on the cardstock where the cake was and then stamp the cake afterwards. I colored the cake only, and then my daughter said the rest of the card needed something, so I colored in his face and hand.

This uses paper from the Home Again SS Kit, that was left over from my Family Treasures class, on Chocolate Chip cardstock that was cut shorter in the front than the back, and then the slot punch holds it closed

The truck is from the Loads of Love set, and the dogs are from the accessories set. I stamped the guy's face first, masked him, and then stamped the girl's face. It looks like he's in the drivers seat in the truck (no, I didn't think of doing it the other way with her driving...)
I love these dogs! :)

I colored in the truck using Prisma color pencils and using the brown to give the truck some age...!

The blue card, is actually a trifold card. I scored it using my Scor-PAL into thirds, and then thought, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH IT NOW?? I decided it could look like a photo card and decided to punch it with the 1 3/8 punch several times. I kept punching and lining up the holes so that it was large enough for a photo to be place inside. I then attached adhesive to the card so that the top was open and I could insert a photo....I stamped it using the One of a Kind, and then stamped the flowers using Brocade Blue, Brilliant Blue, and Ballet Blue, and then punched the flowers out with the Boho Blossoms PUNCH...they match up pretty well! (they're supposed to!)
This is the inside of the card. Now, you can also do it so that the front is punch with a hole and put something behind it for the front.....

I like how this came out...I will have to post photos of how I lined up the punches so that it created this nice frame!
have a great Sunday tomorrow.....

blessings!
Dianne
NOTE: Sunday, I will be using my iPhone as my inspiration...curious???
