Beach Book (ok, it isn't as bad as it sounds!)

I see all those lovely books that are die cut and they have a lovely theme..."family", "love", "cherish"...etc...

but here in Long Beach, we have all those things, but mostly...there is this: BEACH...........No, not what it 'sounds' like.....but, the thing with sand, ocean, waves, surfin'...cute guys...suntans...cute guys....... ha ha...like I see them.......I see 'little boys' and 'old guys' with boards.... I digress!!.......it is only natural that I would come up with my own layered book, and I used the chipboard to create my word book! And..since it is 25% off this month...why not use them to my advantage and come up with a new project to use them!

This is definitely a work in progress! (I did use discontinued background paper from the Just Delightful SS kit) and I have to admit (OOOH NO!) I made a big boo boo....can you see it?

The pieces of chipboard are layered 1" intervals, (the longest is 12")

YUP here it is.....!! I will have to cover this boo boo with some cutesy glued embellishment..but it was a goof spot as it was drying, I smudged it with something wet, (dripped a spot of water or something on it, and then tried to rub it out (NOT A GOOD IDEA!)..any ways, I will try to layer on some more CRAFT ink and then cover it up with something if that doesn't work.....

I did use my bind it all to bind the pages together, and it was very easy to do...oh, and if you have any trouble trying to get the pages to line up in the middle, this is what I do....

**TIP***

I put a post it edge at the center (I line it up using a ruler at the center). Then I take it to the Bind it all machine, and line that up at the arrow on the center, and then punch the holes. If you use that method for each page, then it will line up all the pages. They are too thick to do 2 at a time, so you have to punch them one at a time. (if you can't visualize what I am describing, leave me a comment and I will post photos)
