Grandma's Brag book

Mother's day is fast approaching.. and what more special of a gift is to make a brag book for Grandma. Money is tight here so making a gift that can't be tossed away or given away is more special than just a gift card or sweater for Grandma... My mom is slowly losing some of the memories that she has carried with her...I thought about a few things that I could do, but she doesn't want people to know that she can't remember things as well as she used to. So, putting together this book is my way to have something she can put in her bag that she can show her friends of the things that the grandkids are doing.... My daughter is in college, but all my nephews are all in middle school or elementary school, with 1 still in diapers! She can pull out the tabs and flip the pages to show her friends and not forget their names or their faces! All the pages were created using a plain brown envelope (9x12), Bind It All and Stampin' Up! Papers and cardstocks. The letters were created using the Sizzix and Stampin' Up! dies. HAPPY TAX DAY! Today, I will be watching my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (7) part 1...... Smiles! TUTORIAL AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE! 3.95

If you would like the envelopes (2) as well, please send me an email and request envelopes. Cost with tutorial: 6.95 includes postage. Island Oasis Card and FREE Offer!

Island Oasis Designer Paper is full of the colors we think of Summer and Tropical vacations! The stamp set
Tropical party is retiring soon as well as In A Word
I wanted to make a fun card that would be great to send out to someone who is going on vacation or maybe just a card to brighten their day!
To create the 'frame' for the Marvelo{us}, I punched out 2 pieces of Wild Wasabi cardstock and cut them in 1/2 . I saw this tutorial on a blog (and I am sorry, I can't remember who's blog it was).

Assemble as follows, and voila! you've made an instant FRAME for your punch!

The Write Stuff Bento Box

Using the Write Stuff was a challenge, and I got some ideas from Andrea Walford's blog and created some cute little notes! I had a couple of these tins that look like mini lunchboxes, and decided I could make some cute notes to fit inside! Each note is 4x4 and I had some envelopes that I got from another source.
A Bento Box is a japanese name for Lunchbox. If you do some research on Bento Boxes, there are some amazing things that the Japanese create for their lunches!
The Stamps were from Well Scripted, Tiny Tags and Whimsical Words. All from the Mini catalog or Sale A Bration catalog! You can purchase this tutorial by clicking here
