Merry Christmas!

 No, I haven't lost my mind!! But I have started to think Christmas...I don't have much paper from the NEW MINI yet so this paper is from last year, but the idea is sweet anyways...!!!

 Stamped the dove using Smokey Slate and then the Peace in Gumball Green

All is layered on Gumball Green...

The pop up brings out the die cut out which fit perfectly!!!

Still need a few more details added....

I am just happy I got a card stamped!

Even though the papers are last years....I can still send it out to someone special!

Now I need to stamp a card for my dad....

Mother's Day - post #2 - using Razzleberry Splash Simply Scrappin Kit!

This is for my 2 sister in laws, whom I really love. 

They are great sister in laws.  They keep my brothers both very happy and are great moms. 

I decided to use this SIMPLY SCRAPPIN' kit because first Debbie, (my sister in law) LOVES purple and I thought that this would make a cool cute card!  Anna likes more subtle designs but she got purple too....

 I added a dimensional crystal button to the center of the flowers and it sort of makes it "sparkle!"

OWL Celebrations MDS Hybrid Card

I was in a dilemma...I ordered this new set from the HOLIDAY Catalog, and it was delayed...not by Stampin' Up! but by the USPS! I'm so disappointed with them but I called Demo Services at Stampin' Up! and I was saved...!!!!!  Michelle, one of the ladies at Customer Service (aka DEMO Services) helped me.  She couldn't get me my stamp set to me (but the post office bombed out..and it wasn't Stampin' Up!'s fault) ~~ Michelle got me the digital download..and Voila!   I was able to finish my card!

I added a few extras to it, like the heart and the happy (heart) Holidays and the green ornament below the owl.....

I love love love love love this card now!  It just ties the paper in with the image!

What do you think???  this is for my stamp a stack tomorrow!!!!!

happy birthday!

I cased this card from the CATALOG!  I didn't want to use the same colors so I changed it up a bit...and this is what I came out with!
Using SO SAFFRON for the card and then Old Olive, and Tangerine Tango cardstock for accents.  Stamped in Lucky Limeade, Marina Mist and Tangerine Tango.

The flower is Tangerine Tango and the mini brad finishes the flower!  Perfect for a gift enclosure!

Mixed Bunch

This came from Patty Bennet's blog. I got the idea from her blog (maybe someone submitted to her)...but I loved the colors!  Pool Party, and Island Indigo!  Very simple card for a Stamp a Stack!

Stamping the flowers in Pool Party and I stamped the flowers onto the cardstock directly, only 1/2 through. Layered the ribbon on top and then stamped the flower on white and punched out!

Very simply done!

Cheering for CHERRIES!

I'm thinking of Joan Jett and CH-CH-CH Cherry Bomb!  I love cherries and of course since the new Mini Catalog has a HUGE cherry stamp, I had to use it!  It also coordinates with the papers from the Sweet Shop designer papers!  I hoard cherries, so I am using my paper 'sparingly'....ok, I know, I can buy more, but I have a hard time parting with some papers sometimes!

So..I stamped this using ink and then decided to use...Cherry scented Embossing power!  YES! It's in the mini Catalog!  I applied 2 way glue to the cherries, and then heated it up. Of course when you open the little jar to the embossing power, the cherry scent just starts flowing!!! YUM!

When someone opens this envelope, they will smell the scent of Cherries. Doesn't that make you smile? I do! 

TODAY at class, I gave away these 4 items to those who attended!!!  Congratulations!  :)

Fresh Vintage -Baja Breeze and Poppy Parade

Stamp a Stacks are for making quickie cards, and sometimes I go overboard on the planning of cards.  This one looks like it is overboard, but it actually is very simple.  I stamped several times, the floral stamp from the Fresh Vintage (SAB) stamp set in Poppy Parade.  I stamp the postage stamp in Baja Breeze. Punched out and layered over the postage stamp punch and the 1 3/8 circle punch and the scallop punch.

Layered over Baja Breeze and you're done!

Hello Doily!

I finally purchased this stamp...I have had my eye on it since it came out in the New Catalog in July....I love the details in this. I have the medallion stamp as well, but I LOVE the movement in the lines of this stamp!

How simple this card is, and yet has so much detail. By changing the phrase, this can be a Halloween card, to Thank you to Sympathy Card, even a Wedding card!

Snow snow..much fun!

Make a Merry Snowman

Snowflakes textures on the cardstock using Marina Mist on Marina Mist! Adding the designer paper from Letters to Santa and the snowman from Snow Much Fun. I love this little chubby snowman and his antics in throwing a snowball....accented with real red brads....and ribbon

Penguin Christmas

Happy Feet in PINK!

I decided that I needed to coordinate more of the papers that are in the Letters to Santa Designer papers, and this was one of the combinations that matched the paper. Blushing Bride, Pear Pizzazz, and White. I decided that it needed a cute-ness factor, and so I pulled out my Tags set and the penguin especially because,...let's face it..Penguins are too cute!

After putting most of the elements in this card together, it still was missing something, so I added the swirls and the glitz!

I can't wait for the ICE AGE movie to come out and also Happy Feet! :)

both of those movies make me smile, don't they make you smile too?

Christmas Stamp a Stack

Now...this isn't a typical Christmas card that I would normally do...but it has the colors and feel of Christmas and yet can be a card to give out at Thanksgiving. The designer paper has the roses for the holiday flower instead of poinsettias, and

using the pine trees makes it more simple.

The tri-fold was accomplished using the Simply Scored tool! Quick and easy to use, and can make your card making easier!
