Jersey Shore DSP and Chipboard

Yesterday I was busy..stamping...and stamping...

I was trying to create a more masculine card set...and I love the bright colors in this Jersey Shore DSP set. I got the idea from my upline, upline, Sandy Hancock's meeting. There was a photo of this particular style done (in different colors, and different papers, and with a flower chipboard), that I JUST FELL IN LOVE WITH! But, we have to show different ideas, so we don't get bored...right?
The JUMBO Paper clip was from Target. Ribbons are the Striped Orange, and Navy Blue grosgrain ribbon. I used the Large Star Punch and the smaller Star Punch, to layer on the Chipboard star which was covered with Bashful Blue Craft ink

I have this set," BE HAPPY" which I rarely use..why? Maybe because I don't quite know what to do with all the elements in the set. So, I was looking through a book that has pop ups, and saw a card that had flowers that pop up when you open the card!

The flowers looked similar to this set...and then what to do with the front of the card... The front has Ballet Blue, Real Red, and Black. I stamped Black on Real Red, and then (stamped crooked) the words, "you're absolutely fabulous"

The Pop up was created by cutting 6 parallel lines different lengths, equal distance apart from the center fold. The 2 side cuts were done 1/2" from the middle and the center was done 1" from the middle. (both ways, above the fold, and below the fold). Each pair of parallel lines is 1/2" away from the other. Then, when you fold it, you pop out the lines, to make the 'stems'. I cut a strip of paper 1/2" wide, x 6-8" and then cut them into various lengths to make the stems. Attaching the flowers to the top. The stems are higher than the pop up arm.
The Sun is made using the Scallop circle punch, but it was punched (carefully, twice) to make it look pointy. (looks like a sun, don't ya think?)

Tomorrow, I will draw for the Blog Candy.....! Be sure to leave your comments asap to win..and leave your email address so I can contact you!
