Patty Bennett had a great idea that she shared on her blog, and it was using the
Build A Brad and bracelets! I loved the idea, and had purchased several of the Build a brad kits to make a link of brads, but this way is soooo much easier! You don't have to link them together, you just attach them to this chain! HOW simple is THAT??

I did silver and then also a gold one. I originally had magnetic clasps on them but they were too strong (believe me..they are strong magnets...so I have to get other clasps...) I actually did these last weekend, but I couldn't get a good photo of them...these still are not the best pictures that I have done...need to get better lighting... Sorry!
This is closer up with a little better lighting...and you can see the assorted beads I added to the links.
This one is very plain. I still need to add some cute beads to it...but you can see how easy it is and how cute it can be!!! (and Gold tone, because I wear gold mostly)
This is something else I have been working on, ...for Graduations...leis for friends. My friend's daughter is graduating from CSU Dominguez Hills, and her graduation is Friday. I know College Graduation is supposed to be Black and Gold, but the school colors are Cardinal and Gold, so I decided to make it pretty by using the school colors. I also am making them for some of my daughter's friends from her own high school...Long Beach Wilson, Bruins...(yes, they are cardinal and gold...with the Bruins mascot....) For those of you who don't live in the area, the big rivals in our town is UCLA vs USC. (UCLA= Bruin, Blue and Gold, USC= Trojans, Cardinal and Gold)...someone in Long Beach had a really funny sense of humor! YOU can see more views on my Knit a Stitch blog.......------>
