Fresh Cut Stamp set preview...and having a bad day...

Do you ever have an OFF day? I mean, it almost seems that you've done everything wrong..the stars are not aligned (not that I believe in the stars as a guide...but hey..I can't blame it on my faith..!) But....Tuesday was one of those days....

I had to work..and then after work, I had a graduation/PTA meeting at school, and so I was sitting at the computer blogging while I should've been getting ready...but it was a really long day of craziness at work..so I needed to blow off stuff and share stuff on my blog...

I realized the time to go, ran to my room, saw my shirt that I wanted to wear to the meeting, and it was 'inside' out (ugh!)...so I turned it right side out (I THOUGHT...do you see where this is going?) and threw it on...I drank some soup in a mug and spilled it on my shirt..ran to the bathroom to wash that out, but now I had this wet blob on my shirt....

So...running to the car...now, we're not late or anything..so I don't know why I was thinking we're running to the car....but, trying to dry my shirt off as I drive off to the school, which is about 14-15 minutes away....

Get to the meeting, which is in the library (media center now, as they call it) and find my friend, and sit down...they get it started...

I realize as I am sitting there...that my shirt is sort of dry, but has a faint wet spot on it...

but then..to my horror.......I realize it is inside out...now, how did that happen? Of course, it is one of those polo shirts from Old Navy, which has that raggedy look to it, and so I didn't know which side was the right side until I look at my side, which has the tags hanging out...

Now, there are 50 people in this room, planning grad night for the seniors...and I am sitting there (gratefully, in the back of the room) with a shirt inside out....IS EVERYONE LOOKING AT ME????

Isn't that the time you wish you could wake up from a bad dream???


LOL...any ways...I had one good point to make.... I got my NEW Stamps! So, I guess it wasn't all bad... This is a preview stamp from the NEW catalog coming out in August! Isn't it PURTY! And it is DIE CUT! So you don't have to cut or trim!!! You just punch, peel and stick!

Starting in June, You can order this set and get die cut cards to go with it. It is called FRESH CUTS.

You get 15 die cut note cards, which you punch out the petals, and you can stamp! I punched out the star flower and attached to the back of the punched flower and then attached a Rhinestone brad to the center. I had to use a long reach punch to punch the hole (sorry..non SU), but it will fit inside

Now, I don't know if my bad day had anything to do with this card..it is "ok" from my point of view, but you can see the possibilities of this card and stamp set! You can order this set at 21.95 starting June 1st to June 30th, and you can get the die cut cards for 5.00 (extra packages of cards are available at the price of 8.95)
