I came across this blog while doing a search on Copic markers and Stampin' Up! and wouldn't you know it, there is this FANTASTIC blog that discusses coloring with the Stampin' Up! Markers and getting the cool watercolor effect that we're searching for!
This is a great tutorial in using markers and watercolor....Now, Julie uses stamps by other companies, but...you get the general idea of her "NO Copics" technique! But...She uses Stampin' Up Markers to get her point across!

I am still waiting for my copics to arrive. They come from Japan...(think Anime and all that lovely Japanese cartoon-ish artists who are going to be overwhelmed by Stampers who will flog to the stores to get those markers when they come in as well...! lol) My friend Gina Taylor told me that they are just having a hard time keeping the colors in stock because of the demand...
Now...if I can only do something like this!!!! Lol.....
