New Cards and Fun Fold!

The stamp set is still on special....if you order this set, you can get the JUMBO wheel with the cute fishys for FREE!! This is a cool set, and I think I am finally happy with a card using this set...I had a fake invitation inside, since Tori (my daughter's) birthday is next week. It looked like it would be a SURPRISE Sweet 16 Party for her...but, it was just a "fake" one...it is still a little too chilly here..although the weather has been Gorgeous! But, it would have to be at least 80 degrees for 2 weeks for the pool to get warm enough to swim in! All the kids would have to come in WET SUITS!!! (which most of her friends have them to surf in the Pacific Ocean...brrrr!) But hey, if we're going to have them wear wet suits, then we should just have a party at the BEACH...instead.... but...enjoy this sample..and if you're looking for a cute invitation...keep this one in mind!

This was a birthday card for my co-worker, and since we're actually celebrating next week, I wanted to give her this for her birthday (today-friday).....I punched the hole and put in a jumbo eyelet and then wrapped the ribbon around and through the front.
this is a fun fold, using a 8 1/2 x 11 sheet and folding in quarters...I folded the edges down, and then folded it back up! It makes use of both sides of the DSP and isn't it great! you can tuck cards with sentiments, and gift cards inside the pockets!

I used the star flower punch to punch these flowers out and attached them to the cards, with Snail adhesive and a brad in the center of the flower....they are not all attached in the same place so to give some dimension when they're all placed inside the pockets! A suggestion..you can put a nice photo in the second card (middle) and then a gift card in the front smallest section...hint..what would your mom want for Mother's Day?...It is coming up..May 11th!....remember your mum with a special thought!

Enjoy your weekend...I might stop at the Art Supply Warehouse again, since I will be in the area...heh heh...I think I NEED more copic markers.....heh heh
We've actually have a busy weekend...as if the other weekends haven't been busy enough! And it has NOTHING to do with stamping at all! ........eeek!
