Like my new Banner?
Michelle Laycock is amazing. I was really hesitant to do this, but after envying all the other bloggers out there, I decided to finally just "DO IT". Well, I have to take that back..I didn't...Michelle did...! I changed the name of the blog too, since we decided to do a beach/surfing theme, and since it was different from others...and although I almost was going to stick with the Crime Scene stamper...this was really a fun cute one....so, maybe, someday... I might go back to a inky fingers/crime scene stamper...but, we'll have to do it later....so, let me know what you think..ok? I have a link on the right to
Michelle's blog....check it out..it is very reasonably priced, and she's great!
Well, Now that Sale a Bration is over...what do you do with left overs??
Like dinners, do you re-heat them and serve them again? Well, not with rub ons.....Okay, I am being silly...
I find that I have a lot of the rub ons. For some reason, I thought they would be better to GIFT out than just the stamps...plus they are easier to store than the stamps.....

I decided to try to see how much I can use up packages...still working on it..but I have used a few more in these cards, which I tried to use the Olive colored ones. (I really love those!) It matches so well with the Not Quite Navy, Old Olive, Spring Break DSP and Porcelain Prints DSP. The card above, has the white Rub Ons and they act like a resist when you rub the color over the images. I used Old Olive, NQN and Certainly Celery classic ink with the daubbers. I saw this on other demonstrator's blogs, but was too timid to try it (and what if I wasted 1 image! OOOH NO!) But it works!

I love how the white rub on just stands out on the NQN papers! This is a match book fold. The ribbon is attached to the flap to keep it closed, and there is a hole punched out at the bottom that the ribbon goes through to tie it closed..funky closure, but it works

And this one is a simple card to share happiness with a friend

Wow! This blog has had a make-over! Cool banner! Did you create that yourself? It's totally awesome!! I like the white background...it lets the cards that you post more noticeable...I like it a lot!
