Another Carousel Purse Sample using Simply Scrappin Kit, Tie the Knot

I Love the colors in this Simply Scrappin Kit, and although not ready for a wedding for anyone close to me (or me), I wanted to try to use this kit in another way...maybe, I can give the adhesive die cuts to someone who wants to use them for cards, or scrapbook pages...(hint?) I used Chocolate Chip, (reg cardstock) and the envelopes from the Carousel kit, to make the base of the purse, and then added the lovely DSP to the front, back and insides. (and yes, that's Stitch's nose peeking into the photo)

I covered the center (the folded area) with the DSP, and then the 2 sides, are actually pages I sewed in (by hand) to the front/and back covers

You can see the pages flapping over (with Stitch's help...see the upper left corner of the photo, his paw is helping to turn the pages...lol)

I am going to put something on this side, (photo or phrase) and then have something tucked inside the envelope pocket.

this is the other side, although you can't see the pocket. The kit contains Certainly Celery, and the Carousel cards has Wild Wasabi, but as you can see, they do go together very well. I was surprised, because I almost wasn't going to use the Carousel notes to top this off! I used chocolate ribbon and the stitch wasabi ribbon to make the handle, and added the Jumbo eyelets to the back to hold it in.

This is a WIP (work-in-progress) so I will be adding more embellishments as it goes!
