I decided to do a set of handstamped cards....well, these are mini cards. They are about the size of a gift card...just the right size to put a gift card into, and then seal it off for a special friend!...
or, you can add it to a nice gift for a gift enclosure. I got the envelopes from the scallop envelopes that were in last year's catalog....The note cards were done in Taken w Teal, and the size is approx 2 3/4" x 4" (finished folded size). The box was made using the Taken with teal, and then covered with the Bali Breeze DSP.
I had to make the top twice because, DUH! I forgot to add a **smidge larger size for the top to go over the bottom....be sure that when you're scoring, you add the little bit...it will make the top go on so much easier!!!! and you have to do it to all the sections, otherwise you won't have an even box to slip over.... (**TIP TO REMEMBER)
The Note cards are Taken with Teal, and I used the Heartfelt Thanks Set, and Stamped the words from Baroque Motif set. The ribbon is the Olive twill ribbon, which matches the papers just perfectly. I made the scallop border using the corner rounder. OH, and just in case you're wondering..I cheated on the box top..I used our old scallop scissors to make the scallop edge for the top of the box (sorry....it just goes along so much easier!! don't you wish they would bring those back??) ....but, I just heard that they're going to be coming out with a SCALLOP PUNCH!...so....we'll see how it goes!!!!or, you can add it to a nice gift for a gift enclosure.
