Voila!

Life is fun...It always throws curves...but, I think that the main thing that I try to remember is that each day is a step...and I have to get up each step..

So, with all that is going on in my little world, it is small compared to what is going on in the world in general....things like flat tires, broken water heaters, illness, no electricity, broken freezer and spoiled meat in the last 2 weeks......it is small when you compare to what is going on in other areas...tornados, gas prices, war, persecution, death....

So, my life goes on....!!! At least, I have my faith in knowing that I have a special reason to share what I love to do....and to live my life, through the good..and the bad...

I had to make a card for my daughter, for one of her favorite teachers. She wanted to give her guitar teacher a special gift of coffee. She knows he likes coffee, and so, I made a card using Voila! and the Pun Fun coffee cup. (I love that little cup!)

I stamped in black on KRAFT cardstock and colored in with PRISMA color pencils. I love the white on the craft cardstock..it just seems to pop out! The weathered background is in Chocolate Chip on Kraft cardstock and then chocolate chip ink on the Chocolate Chip cardstock strip. I mounted it to Baroque Burgundy, and tied it with the grosgrain ribbon. The Thank you is from Lovely Labels in Rose Red Ink on Kraft Cardstock, mounted on a scalloped Chocolate Chip piece.
We put in a STARBUCKS gift card attached with Glue dots...and off it went for the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL~ She will be a Junior next year!! YIPPEE~
