I love cupcakes, cherries, things that are RED and chocolate...sweet cards are always fun! 
I used a (non-SU) punch that I bought it last year, and I had to make something fun with it! I think that cupcakes are always a fun thing to give, and since yesterday was my daughter's birthday, she got lots of cupcakes yesterday!
She got cupcakes at school from 2 of her friends, and cupcakes from her dad after her basketball game!
It was a fun day, and a great way to celebrate!
The colors I used in this card are "retro" in my eyes...chocolate chip, old olive, and regal rose. The pindot embossed background makes it look even more retro. It reminds me of one of my favorite blouses that I used to wear when I was younger...it had those fuzzy little dots on the muslin that just felt good when you touched them. I think I like texture and the little dots are just sweet!
