I love the View Master. When you peek in them and the click the wheel to turn the wheel, and the picture changes,...you feel like you can see something that is touchable. It gives you a 3D effect! Well this can be done 2 dimensionally by using the Scallop die that is from the Fall Winter Mini Catalog....soon to come out in September...
To Make this card:
Scallop Circle Punch
1 1 3/8" circle punch
1 large scallop circle (white cardstock)
You will need 5 1/2" x 12 Cardstock
Score it at 4 1/4", 8 1/2" (you will then have 3 1/2" left)
Fold it at the score lines.
At the 4 1/4" line, you will punch the Word Punch twice. Line it up so that it is even.
Then punch the circle punch in the center panel of the card.
Measure in about 1" in from the last panel edge, and about 2 1/4" down from the top and poke a small hole using a paper piercer. This is the hole for the scallop wheel.
Stamp your images on the wheel. I used a Post it as a mask so that it would't overlap the areas for the next area. This stamp set, (Simply Said) fits perfectly in the windows.
the scallop wheel gets placed through the slot make with the Word Window Punch. You can adhere the back panel to the outside edge near the fold to seal this card up!
Flip it over, and punch the 1 3/8" circle in the Pacific Point cardstock and then punch the Scallop circle punch after lining up the circle hole in the center of the punch.
Add ribbons and other dies, and voila! simple View Master card!
This is one of the cards we made at my Sizzix Class!!!
