My friend, Ellen's birthday was last month, and I sent her a card, but last saturday was my birthday. We're only 3 weeks apart, so we try...and I do say TRY to get together sometime around our birthdays.
I thought what can I give to her, that she can use, that won't be crafty, and not get used...so..
I decided to make her a box of cards. I am also throwing in a gift card, since she just got an iTouch...and she can load it up with some of her favorite songs!
This is a quick stamped box of cards. All of the cards are basically the same, with a couple of changes. I didn't add all the greetings on the cards, and stamped a few extra ones so that she can use them as she needs to.
The little flower, I also didn't put them on, since I thought she can add them on the cards as she wants.
The box was made using 12x12 Cardstock, and then I cut, scored, and embellished with Pink Pirouette Cardstock and it was stamped using Basic Black Classic Ink
The box is 4 1/2" x 6" x 1 1/2"
Much deeper than the chocolate box that used the Bella Rose Papers. This one is 1 1/2" thick. I had to add another piece of cardstock to the 12x12 to make this box, but the seam is contained in the corners, so you can't see it
There are 12 cards inside, with envelopes, and the little package of card candy embellishments in the cello wrap
Everything neatly inside, and ready for gift giving!
oops, I can't forget the iTunes gift card..!!!
