Sticky Die Cut Letters

Sometimes, I think about Stampin' Up at the oddest times..and this time, it was during worship at Church...I usually am focused on church, and singing, but they were singing some new songs, and I wasn't into it yet..so my mind drifted...(sorry God)....
This just was a glimpse into what I was thinking...and so, today, Monday, decided to see if it would work....

I took my sticky die cut letters, and some DSP (Bali Breeze, available until the end of this catalog...August 10th) and chose a small cut piece from the collection. I scored with my scissors on the paper side (not the pink side) and cut through the paper so that it was easier to remove.

The score/cut line makes it easier to peel off the paper backing. It is very difficult to do it with artificial nails, but even with real nails it is hard.

Stick it to the decorative paper, down on the RIGHT side..the side you want to be visible.

Cut out your letter. Be sure to cut out the inside.

Adhere the letter using either mono adhesive or tombow glue and stick it to the cardstock of your choice...

In this case, I used Groovy Guava

I then, peeled off the pink cover off the sticky die cut letters, and sprinkled glitter over.

After matting all the pieces, and cutting a scallop border, your piece is done!

closer up...
