My daughter plays basketball. She's been on a team since she was 5, but more seriously since she was 7.....but, now, being in High School, she's even more "into" basketball. Not that she'll play in college, or anything other than just for fun...she has lots of basketball friends. So, we make birthday cards for friends....
Monday was a team-mate's birthday. So..she said...MOM...I need a card....So, I dug this one out of my un-mounted stash, and decided to make a simple card using the Basketball Stamp set,
And....Party Hearty.....I used the Coluzzle to cut the swoop arc to the basket, and then cut a small piece of mounting tape, to attach the pennies to each other, and then a glue dot for the basketball to the penny.

THIS is not a 'quality' card...at least from a trading swap card standpoint, but ....my daughter was thrilled, and her friend will be thrilled by the swirling basketball going in the basket!!!*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Party Hearty is a NEW set that will be in the NEW catalog! We received this after regionals, and for placing a qualifying order.....
Something to look for in the NEW Catalog & Idea book!

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. I have had fun looking around yours. You have some great cards and projects. I am adding you to my google reader so I can keep up with you!
Have a great week!
actually, I can't add you to my google reader. Not sure why. It shows your last post as Aug of 2007. I have no idea how to fix that.
