Wild Wasabi Card
Stampin' Up! has a promotion that starts on March 1st....that's tomorrow! Today is Leap Day, just an extra day of the year to put down on your calendar...so I am marking it with this new card!
The promotion is you get 16 Wild Wasabi Cards that are pre-cut and pre scored, so that the front of the card folds up, (or down) to add an extra element to it!
I stamped Tres Chic in Wild Wasabi, and then the Thank you from the Lovely Labels in Real Red, and layered it on Only Orange, and put that inside the card, to peek out in the circle that I punched out on the top layer.
I used the Die Cut Blooms and stitched around them with the White Gel Pen, and layered them all together. (ok, overkill? ...lol). I then punched out the circle (and inked around it)
I then adhered the Striped Ribbon to the flap, and attached it to the front of the card, and tied a knot from a SEPARATE Ribbon, and attached the ribbon...
Simple and very easy to do!...

The background is a really neat stamp. Why haven't I noticed that in the catalog before? Funny how once you see a project made with something it strikes you in a completely new light!
ReplyDeleteThe addition of the white gel pin "stitching" nicely picks up the white in the ribbon.
Very sweet!
