More Cards in a Box - Simply Scrappin

I was inspired by Andrea Walford from Canada, who made a simply scrappin card gift box with cards stamped and ready to go...

I decided to take one of the (only) current Simply Scrappin Kits that I have in my collection, and Stampin Up has,....and make my own! (there are 10 plus 1 hostess level 3 to choose from!)

I used the Cottage Rose Kit (110562 19.95) which has 2 sheets of Texture Sky blue, 2 sheets of Texture Chocolate Chip, 2 sheets of Texture Rose Red, 2 sheets of Texture River Rock as well as 6 Printed Designer Double sided papers, and 6 Adhesive Die cuts. I did add some Chocolate Chip (regular cardstock) to the inside of the box, so that it was more sturdier. I felt that the box needed a more stable base. But, I followed Andrea's Tutorial.....

You can see the chocolate chip cardstock inside. This does accomodate all the cards (there are 16 inside, and envelopes too)
The cards are varied, but basically, I used all the cardstock in the kid, and the stamps I used to embellish were:
Wonderful Words :103875 20.95
Stitched Exotics: 111020 33.95
Curvy Verses: 104879 20.95
I also used the Build a brad, but only 1 brad. I had extra resin covers, so I put them on the round adhesive die cuts to embellish them and enhance them.

The ribbons I used were the Stitched River Rock, Sky blue, taffeta ribbon in blue, and chocolate, as well as Grosgrain ribbons (in various shades). I still have extra cardstock and designer papers and adhesive die cuts (3 sheets that are still untouched!). So, I can really make more than 12 more cards, (3x6 cards, or more than 24 3x3 cards!)

After I started Stamping them, I found it began to really come together. At first the cards were dull and not interesting, but this Stitch Exotic set coordinates beautifully with this Simply Scrappin Kit.
Try the tutorial...you'll love the results!
