Gift Cards in a Box

Colors Used: Chocolate Chip cardstock

Sky Blue Designer Papers, Very Vanilla, and Chocolate Taffeta Ribbon.

I had left over kits from the stamp a stack this weekend, and thought why not make cards so I can send out some to people as I need them?...and then...why not make a nice gift for someone, or for a future class?....so..I made the box to hold the cards!

The box is made using Chocolate Chip, and stamped in White Crafters ink, with TRUE FRIEND stamp set.

Would you like to get this as a gift?
I made the template up, after seeing one close to it on Andrea Walford's blog. The dimensions are 7"x12". I scored 1/2" on either side (long side) and then 4 1/2", 5", 9 1/2", 10". You cut off the sides off the part where the 9 1/2" and the 10" score lines are (just the 1/2" sides) and that makes the flap. If you want a deeper box to hold more cards, cut your cardstock 7 1/2" x 12 " and then score 3/4" on the sides.......or cut it 8" x 12" and score it at 1" etc, al.
If you are a visual person and need to see the template, or the steps I used to make the box, please put down a comment and I will be happy to try to add more photos!

  1. I'm a new demonstrator with SU!, and this would make a great hostess gift for my first party coming up! Can you post a template? Thanks so much!
