Today...I had a little fun stretching my 'artistic' side of Stampin' Up!
stamps! I was at the rubber stamp show this weekend,
and I had
forgotten all about my watercolor pencils and "gamsol".
Gamsol is
mineral spirits which if you use it, you need good ventilation!.
I pulled out my watercolor pencils and decided to use my artichoke stamp. I stamped the artichokes in a creative way on Whisper White cardstock. (I used different black ink - not SU's Basic Black) I then colored each of the artichokes in a different color, using colors that 'go' together...and shading in areas that should be darker, and lighter colors in light areas.
So, this creates a ANDY WARHOL effect which is totally different than my 'usual' style, but I LOVE this card! It is very colorful and simple!
