Three Tier Birthday Cake

I love Interactive CARDS! They are so much fun to give and I love to receive them....I don't get any for myself, but I do try to show YOU how to make them! This one is inspired by the book Interactive Cards by Annie's Attic. Alice Golden designed the card and has 'basic' instructions (although they are not explicit enough to really know how to make them) I still have some fine tuning to make to this card, but the basic mechanism is here!

As you pull the top scallop, this card telescopes to reveal a hidden layer. Now...If you really want to surprise your recipient, you can place a gift card on the middle layer! (hint hint..wink wink!)

Be sure to check out Annie's Attic and this interactive book! I will have more interactive cards that I am making in Andrea Walford's class.
