Fifth Avenue Floral

Sponging is a simple way to fill in or color any stamped image. Most of the time when you sponge, you should have a large area to fill in. Of course, you can't fill in a figure that has a lot of detail but for flowers, sponging gives you a lot of color that nature can inspire!

I used up some of the retiring paper Pink Flamingo...love it and will miss it but I am looking forward to the new Designer papers coming up in the NEW Catalog & Idea Book!

Stamp the flower 3 times on whisper white with Classic Black ink. (Water resistant) Cut out flowers

Get out your ink pads (Real Red and So Saffron) and finger sponges

Dab the So Saffron in the center

Dab the Real Red ink around lightly on the petals.

Start sponging darker around the edges, and then blend towards the center.

Voila! You will have all 3 flowers done!
