Imagine, you have a Halloween party but you don't want it to be your "run of the millHalloween"? What if you have a bunch of adult stampers coming to your house? What do you do?
I decided to take some of the ideas I have seen in magazines, and this was in Papercrafts a few months ago. It uses the Cupcake centerpiece and Handmade Boxes! Each of the boxes contain a surprise that any stamper would LOVE! (stamps, embossing powder, glitter, etc)
I used all Stampin' Up! Supplies and Sizzix/Stampin' up Dies! The boxes are all 2" x 2", and the dies are all Stampin' Up! and SU Exclusive!
To make the boxes, Cut your cardstock 6" x 6". If you want to have easy tops to remove, cut your piece just a little shy of 6x6 (like 5 7/8" x 5 7/8").
Score at 2" around each edge. If you have a Scor Pal, it is very easy to do.
FOLD your crease lines
Cut the corners, leaving a small 1/4" tab on 1 edge. I left the 1/4" tab at the center (horizontal) edge. This is your tape edge.
Use Sticky Tape to adhere the box sides
Tape up the sides to form the box
This is your box bottom!
Now to make your top, cut a square of the decorative paper 4" x 4". Be sure it is 4" on the line, and not less otherwise you won't be able to get the top onto the bottom.
You will score each edge 1" all the way around, and repeat like you did the bottom of the box....
