Pop into a Spring Tea Party!
I was experimenting with the POP up Ball Die and the TEA party Paper...and wow, it is fun, easy to put together, and although it does take some tracing around a template (which I made by using a piece of scratch cardstock) you can decorate your Pop UP ball into anything you want!
Some ideas is a calendar (you will need a teeny one to download to the 'pages'), Photo album with small photos from an event, or, Invitation, or just a pop into Spring card, like this one is!
I assembled the pieces according to the instructions included with the die. Add rubber bands. I used #16 Rubber bands which I had purchased previously from Staples.
You will need to use a card that is at least 6x12 (6x6 folded). When you lay it flat, be sure that the straight edge is lined up with the fold.
So that when it is flat, the card will fold. This shows how you push the ball down, and then you can close the card! I do want to say that I have the layers on the top of the card to reinforce the hole that you have to punch through so you can attach the ball (BE SURE TO PUT THE BRAD IN FIRST BEFORE ASSEMBLING THE BALL! otherwise, it takes finesse and a long nose plier...hint hint!) I also attached the ribbon to the underside, and then covered it with another piece of Pixie Pink cardstock.
