This is what i have actually been working on as of late..along with other things including ribbon leis for the graduating Varsity seniors of our school's basketball team. I handed them out to the seniors last night at our Basketball Awards Banquet.
I didn't use Stampin' Up! Papers since we really don't have any 'sports' theme papers. The main orange paper is using the Basketball paper from LSS which has the texture and feel of a basketball, and the darker brown paper is basketball themed as well.
The basketball backboard and hoop is a die cut which I used in my accucut machine, and then I tied it with ribbon purchased from Walmart!
The Binding was done by using the Bind it All, and I mounted each of the pages and photos on heavy chipboard, which I bought from a paper supply company (down the street from me)
Most of the girls on the team don't have parents that do this sort of thing so it might be all the photos that they have from high school basketball days...I took photos from all through the high school season this year....
I started this last year, and so this year, the girls are expecting it, although they don't really know if I am doing it since I don't make a big deal of telling them anything. Next year, when my daughter graduates, I know that the girls that come after are going to miss it, but.....I have photos for them which I passed out for them last night at the banquet...
I stamped inside using Just Basketball, but since there are photos of girls that I probably shouldn't put on the internet without their permission, I can't show them to you.....but just know that I had a lot of fun putting them together!
LSS = Local Scrapbook Store, in this case, it was Scrapbook Depot, in Los Alamitos, CA
