Project #5 Country Living Kit and Holiday Extravaganza SALE Begins!

Another ornament, using RUB ONs....and Micro Beads. I applied the designer papers to the chipboards, and then using the Sticky tape, applied the Microbeads. Well, it didn't make the coolest effect..I think the glitter from yesterday's project looks more appealing, but it was something different, and fun. I do like the red added to the Baja Breeze, and of course, we had to put in a photo of Suki, my little companion.

On another note: I saw the TWILIGHT movie, and .....I was happy to see it, and yet disappointed in the same way. I don't want to give away spoilers, but it doesn't do the book justice....well, complete justice. It was enjoyable in the way that a movie can be enjoyable, but you don't get the same effect that the book can obviously give you by giving you insight into their thoughts. I saw it on Friday, and in the theater was a bunch of giggling girls who giggled at EVERYTHING (HOW ANNOYING IS THAT?) ..but I went again on Saturday, with my daughter this time...and I found that I got over the disappointment, and was enjoying the movie, and the story. So....if you don't like it the first time, GO again, and see it get over your hang ups comparing the book to the movie and enjoy yourself! (Now, I have to tell you, that I don't agree with the Vampires, themes etc, but the romance between the characters and Stephanie Meyer's style of writing is really the key to this book series!) One more thing...I actually went to the Theater by MYSELF on Friday! It was sort of liberating! No one to tell me what they wanted to eat, they had to go to the bathroom and throw a sweatshirt over my head and tell me to watch it, or have to get a text message out! lol
