Country Living Joy Garland Project #1

Yes...I am showing a picture of .....MICHAEL's! OOOh NOO?

Well, sometimes, you just have to stop there and get ideas for new things..or to display and enhance projects you're working on!

I stopped at Michael's to get this garland....which was used on the display for Stampin' Up's model.....and I love it....

I stamped the letters from the Big Deal Alphabet, in Real Red Craft Ink, on Baja Breeze Cardstock, and after inking up the scallop chipboard, and gluing on the designer paper on the chipboard, assembled it, and hung them on the beaded Garland.....

I will be adding more elements to this garland, and you will want to have this in your house...so, be sure to look for this garland at Michaels.....and order your Country Living Holiday Kit soon!!!! I will try to make sure I take photos and add them to the blog so you can get more ideas for this kit! You can order it online through my website! http://www.dianneshiozaki.stampinup.net/

PS. I found a dog today.!!!..it is a puppy, from the SPCA, and she's so cute! She's a long hair Chihuahua. I know....I have always been a big dog lover, and especially Golden Retrievers, but this little dog is so cute..I just hope the cats will love her....!!!! We'll be picking her up on Tuesday..Election day....oh, and her name is SUKI (which means "kiss" or "love" in Japanese - the Japanese don't have a word for love, actually, but this word means that you really like something ALOT!). She's a teeny little dog, and I think the smallest dog I have ever had!!! Isn't she a cutie?

She sort of reminds me of the little Aussie we found..maybe that's why she appealed to us!

*Note: On Sunday, we found out that she has a grade 5 Heart Murmur. We're not sure she will survive the surgery to spay her. I am picking her up this morning to get a second opinion on her, and to see if she was misdiagonosed, or if her life will be a short one. Regardless, we've decided," I think" that, we'll keep her even if she only survives for a year. We've fallen in love with her, but I will let you know what the second opinion tells us.....
