Halloween treats

What is Halloween to you?
Well Halloween always means the warm fall air, with cooler nights than summer. Breeze that blows but not too gusty, and of course, costumes, and candy! We think of candy at my house, not just during the fall or Halloween, but all year around. Hey, you can't get tired of chocolate, can you?
Well, I was searching all over for a box pattern for Hershey's Minatures. Do you know, that there isn't a pattern for this? I guess I will have to make up a tutorial for this. They have them for the nuggets, but not minatures.
So, stay tuned, and I will get it together. But, for the meantime...this is my box for Halloween treats!
I had some extra small pieces of designer papers, ie: HAIKU and so I thought I would try to use up some of these smaller pieces to cover the candy!
These pieces are 1 1/2" x 3" (approx). You take the piece, and then put a little snail at one end, and then wrap it around the miniature Hershey's chocolate.

Wrap it all the way, and then place it in the box with the other candies!

After all your candy's are covered, this is what it will look like.
Well, you can't see what is inside of them which makes it nice because if you're like my family, we've already eaten the MR. GOODBARS and the KRISPIES Chocolate ones....so all that's left are just the milk chocolate and the dark chocolate...gggg!!! SHHHHH!

Decorate the top of the box, and slide the cover over the box, and it is all ready to give to your special TRICK or TREATERS....I'm giving them to my co-workers...!
Hey did you know that Chocolate doesn't cause tooth decay? I read it in a dental journal. It has something in it which doesn't cause the tooth decay..but of course, it is better dark (which I love dark chocolate too) than milk chocolate which has more sugar added to it.....
Well, don't forget to floss and brush after eating your candy! (that's the dental hygienist in me telling you to take care of your teeth!)

Happy October! Stay tuned for the box tutorial!
