Blushing Bridal Shower Card

I am invited to a Bridal Shower at the end of the month, and one of the things we have to do is to bring a gift....isn't that what you're supposed to do at a Bridal Shower?

I guess because I am now older, and most of my closest friends are long married, and I am not around too many young friends, I don't get the opportunity to go to Bridal showers....even Baby Showers are getting farther apart as my friends are now hitting Meno-pause...

They don't have Meno-pause parties....too bad......well, I have to go to a funeral...but that doesn't count....(now I am mostly going to funerals of my friend's parents!)

Ok, how did I digress to this sad subject???!!!

I asked around for this pattern because of one of the BRIDAL SHOWER games we're doing is to bring a NEW Panty for the Bride....and she's going to choose her favorite panty....I needed a cute card to use for my entry.........

I don't like games..but, I thought this card would be a hoot to give to her since I won't be there...and she's going to just love the card, even if she doesn't like the panty I buy for her....'like' does giving her dental floss count???

I cut out the pattern, and then put a row of Snail adhesive along the edge. I punched 1/4" circles out of white cardstock and added them to the edges of the pieces.

I added them tediously to each edge that I wanted to look like a lacy edge

Turning it over and mounting it to the base cardstock in Blush Blossom....

And then, we can't forget the backside!!!

I know when she opens the card, she will be showing all the guests the back side of the card!!!

I will miss seeing it...well, maybe not..It might be PRICELESS!!!
