Congrats to the GRAD!

 Looking through the NEW catalog, I saw this sweet card, and of course I had to CASE it!  I changed and tweaked it a bit but the idea is still the same....The colors are purple and gold and although we don't have a true purple ink, I think the Wisteria is close....it looks great with Elegant Eggplant cardstock which is a nice purple color!

Gingham Garden Box and Cards

 I have been working on some cards and a box idea. I came up with the box from a Blog that sells templates.  I purchased her template but it was too small for the idea that I was looking for, so I made up one myself.....This is the start of my project, which I think will be a cute class!

It will consist of 8 cards and envelopes and this cute tote, plus I think I will add a pen to it as well....

 What a cute gift for that special friend or family member, or teacher or neighbor....

Look for this class at the end of June...

Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape

 Strawberry Slush and Pistachio Pudding..sounds yummy!  I decided to play with some of the new colors, and make a Thank you card for my friend Valerie...she gave me Christmas gifts..it's been a long time since we've seen each other....and Stamped! 

 Sorry this one is blurry but you can see the washi paper attached to a strip of white cardstock and then layered over the Strawberry Slush strip.  The label was stamped in pistachio and strawberry and then punched with the label punch and the modern label and then layered together...bling'd  

and Voila!

Mosaic Madness

 This was my sneek peek card I demo'd at the Bright Blossom class...I love it. I wasn't sure about this one because it wasn't my 'style' but I don't know if I really have a style!  I cased this card from Ilina Crouse. I tweaked it a bit to use the banner stamp set.

 The colors used was Blushing Bride, Pistachio Pudding and Baked Brown Sugar.  The mosaic is punched out using the mosaic punch and it fits perfectly in the embossed cardstock.  The flower is punched with the teeny punch and then they are all embellished with a jewel BLING!

The banner is stamped in pistachio and then hand cut out and attached to the string.....so it 'moves'.  but it just looks so cute!  (the Banner is a hostess only set!)

Spanish Catalog

 did you know that there is a spanish catalog?  ....There's been a Spanish version for a while but I don't show it too often...only because most of my customers are english speaking...but I do have a few friends who speak spanish.  It is a nice catalog that has most of the same stamps that are in the main catalog but in spanish.  You can also order some of the stamps in French as well. Wouldn't it be cool someday to get it in JAPANESE???  Of course I probably wouldn't be able to order it myself from here, but I do think it would be nice to send it to some of my friends....

 

 My 2 little doggies who keep me company during the evenings when I'm alone...they are so spirited...it's hard to get a photo of them together...Suki and Kahula

Mosaic Madness......

Just a preview of the card we're making today....NEW Products, punches, stamps, inks and embossing folder!  I can't wait to share it with you!!!!  It is so much fun! I was inspired to make this card by Ilina Crouse, so this in my adaptation of her card...tweaked it a bit.....but it is so nice to NOT have to fussy cut the little flowers...only the banner was cut by hand.  (but it is all straight lines so no worries, right?)

The best thing about This and That is it becomes something beautiful and different for everyone! Once a customer sees the many ways it can be used, it's an easy sell-and perfect for the young, and young at heart. Here are some ways to get this awesome product line into the hands of new customers:

• First things first, order one yourself! Use it, love it, and make it yours and others will start to notice. Leaving the hairdresser? Tuck your next appointment card right in with some washi tape. Having a girls' day at lunch and the movies? Stash the tickets right there and have each friend write her favorite part of the day. The possibilities are endless, and the goal is perfect imperfection. Using the book yourself will be just the conversation starter you need to start selling This and That products to all sorts of new people.
• Market it as a gift. At workshops and parties, help your customers see what a great gift the This and That products make! You could even offer to gift wrap it for them (and include your contact info). When they purchase with the intent of giving it away, you'll be spreading the word about your business.
• Show the individual products' benefits. This and That is great when you use all the products together, but each product is great on its own too! • Sponsor an ambassador. Do you have an outgoing friend, niece, or granddaughter? Give her the goods and ask her to use it, love it, talk about it, and tell everyone where she got it-for a month. Have her collect contact info on a back page from all the people who love it. She gets a cute book of memories, and you get new customers and sales.
• Free trip giveaway!!. Hello, free advertising! Soon, all your friends' friends' friends will know about This and That! You can also post pictures of This and That projects, and of course you'll want to pin the different ways you use it on Pinterest.

Mother's Day - post #2 - using Razzleberry Splash Simply Scrappin Kit!

This is for my 2 sister in laws, whom I really love. 

They are great sister in laws.  They keep my brothers both very happy and are great moms. 

I decided to use this SIMPLY SCRAPPIN' kit because first Debbie, (my sister in law) LOVES purple and I thought that this would make a cool cute card!  Anna likes more subtle designs but she got purple too....

 I added a dimensional crystal button to the center of the flowers and it sort of makes it "sparkle!"

Mother's Day 2013 - Secret Garden

 I decided to start making my Mother's day cards today since I had the time and the creative juices were trickling down...I say trickling because I really haven't been doing much stamping lately and although the new catalog is coming out, I haven't purchased anything from the preview as of yet (not that I don't want to but....it takes some urge to create and if you don't create, then you don't need to buy!)  So, making a card from this set was fun! I love that the dies match the flowers, and I know you can't get this right now because it was in the Mini Catalog....it will be available in the NEW catalog!

 Stampin the flowers and the cutting them out using the matching dies was easy. I sponged the color onto the cut flowers and then added a teeny little pearl to the inside....

 SWEET!
