Lace border Punch!

I haven't used this punch much but after perusing on Pinterest, I found a card that inspired me!  I love how it used the lace border punch on the sides of the card!  It was different than this one, and of course we all have to find inspiration from someplace...but I am really digging on this!

What do you think?

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time. I have been busy with working and cleaning and getting over the retired list!  Wow!  Lots of stamps are retiring!  The words used in this card is retiring!  Can you believe that? I actually got this set for FREE, so I don't feel too bad about this but I do like this one. I wonder what new stamps are coming in the NEW Catalog...makes me wish I could see it now!  THE LACE BORDER Punch is retiring as well!

Instructions

To create Happy Birthday Poppy Parade Box

1. Cut box from Poppy Parade Card Stock using Box #2 Bigz XL Die and the Big Shot; assemble box.
2. Punch scallop circle from Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper using 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch; use Crop-A-Dile to punch holes under scallops. Punch circle from Peach Parfait Textured Card Stock using 1-3/4" Circle Punch. Adhere to center of scallop circle and adhere to box.
3. Tie Poppy Parade 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon around box.
4. Ink sentiment using Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade Stampin' Write Markers. Stamp image on Whisper White Card Stock; punch out using 2" x 1-3/8" Oval Punch. Layer punched image over ribbon using Stampin' Dimensionals.

To create Wish Big Box

1. Cut box from Baja Breeze Textured Card Stock using Box #2 Bigz XL Die and the Big Shot; assemble box. Cut strip of Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper (9" x 1"); wrap around box.
2. Create tag from Wild Wasabi Card Stock (2-1/2" x 1-1/2"); punch hole in top of tag using Crop-A-Dile. Tie strip of Baja Breeze 1/2" Seam Binding Ribbon through hole.
3. Stamp sentiment in Wild Wasabi ink on Whisper White Card Stock; cut out image; adhere to Wild Wasabi tag using Stampin' Dimensionals; adhere layered tag over strip of Designer Series Paper using Stampin' Dimensionals.

To create A Gift for You Box

1. Cut box from Peach Parfait Textured Card Stock using Box #2 Bigz XL Die and the Big Shot; assemble box. Cut strip of scalloped Designer Series Paper using Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die and the Big Shot; wrap around box.
2. Stamp sentiment in Baja Breeze ink on Whisper White Card Stock; punch out image using Scallop Oval Punch; add holes to scallops using 1/16" Circle Punch. Adhere scallop oval to scallop trim using Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere buttons to box.

To create So Many Candles, So Little Cake Box

1. Cut box from Blushing Bride Card Stock using Box #2 Bigz XL Die and the Big Shot; assemble box.
2. Cut strip of Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper (6" x 1"); wrap around box.
3. Punch first layer of the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch from Blushing Bride Card Stock; punch third layer of the Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch from Just Add Cake Designer Series Paper; layer punched images. Adhere rhinestone to center and adhere to box.
4. Ink sentiment using Blushing Bride and Peach Parfait Stampin' Write Markers. Stamp image on Whisper White Card Stock; punch out using Decorative Label Punch; adhere to box using Stampin' Dimensionals.
5. Tie Blushing Bride 1/2" Stitched-Poly Ribbon around box.

To create the Butterfly Ticket Box

1. Cut box from Just Eat Cake Designer Series Paper using Bitty Box & Envelope Bigz XL Die and the Big Shot; assemble box.
2. Punch scallop border from Baja Breeze Textured Card Stock using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch; wrap around box; adhere ticket to box.
3. Stamp Dot, Dot, Dot background image in Blushing Bride ink on Blushing Bride Card Stock; punch half of image using Butterfly Punch; adhere strip of Wild Wasabi Card Stock to center of butterfly. Punch heart from Just Eat Cake Designer Series Paper using Heart to Heart Punch; adhere heart to butterfly. Adhere butterfly over ticket.

To decorate the cake stand

1. Cut scallop strips from Just Eat Cake Designer Series Paper using Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die and the Big Shot; wrap around cake stand.
2. Punch pennants from Baja Breeze and Peach Parfait Textured Card Stock and Designer Series Paper using the Petite Pennants Punch; punch holes on sides of pennants using 1/16" Circle Punch. Thread crochet thread through holes.
3. Punch flowers from Blushing Bride Card Stock using Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack; adhere rhinestones to center of flowers; adhere flowers to pennants; adhere pennants to cake stand.

Flip Twist Card

Using the Apothecary stamp to be framed in the center of the flip piece and by using the negative as well as the positive designer paper, you don't waste much!

Hostess: Cheerful Treat

I 'cased' this card from Chiaki and tweaked it a bit to make it my own. I don't like to 'waste' designer paper so I like to cut the papers in 3" or 4" or 6" increments if at all possible...so I found that cutting it at 4x4 was the most effective way to use this paper and still be able to create this card!

Using the punch to create a negative flower!

Adding a bit of ribbon to the button is easy IF you cut the ribbon at a sharp angle to get the ribbon through the holes.  Adding dimensionals to the textured cardstock also creates more emphasis on the flower!

I love this card! Very cute and very springy!
