Girls Day in Japan

To celebrate the spring, in Japan, they have a special holiday for girls. Mostly the young girls dress up in Kimonos and celebrate the spring time with the cherry blossoms. It is called Ohinamatsuri. I have a collection of dolls that were given to me when I was younger by my grandmother, and my mom used to put them up for March 3rd. I in turn did the same thing for my own daughter!

So, I am celebrating Hinamatsuri with this card using the Kimono kids, and hope you all have a HAPPY SPRING! and GIRLS day where-ever you are!
