Petal Pizzazz! Spring is Blossoming
I can't remember who's site I got this card from, but I did print it out..and that's where I got my inspiration from! I used Marine Mist cardstock, and scored it at 2 1/8" on both ends. Then added Designer paper from the Paisley Petals (which will be available April 1st!). Using the Petal Pizzazz stamp set, I cut out the flowers stamped in Peach Parfait, and Marine Mist...added a phrase from Sincere Salutations, and Voila!

Sending Thanks to the troops!!!
"Boy making cards for 180,000 troops
Ten-year-old Stephen Goodman, a fifth-grader in Surprise, Arizona, wants to send a thank you card next to military personnel. Not to one platoon, or to just one division, but to every actively deployed service member in the U.S. military. Stephen said he thought of the idea while spending the summer with his grandparents in Phoenix. “My grandpa went to Vietnam and didn’t get any cards, and he felt forgotten,”
"You have from now until July 1st to help Stephen reach his goal, help say "thank you" to our brave military personnel who are deployed overseas, .......
I saw this request on Karen Burniston's blog and thought what a great idea!!! You can send them to Stephen himself by clicking on the "CLICK" here or up above.
I'm going to try to make at least 10. WHAT WILL YOU DO???? If you want to participate, email me and let me know, and I can send them to him in a big envelope or box....Let me know by April 6th. You don't have to give me the cards until the end of April but I would like to know how many to expect!!!! I would like to get them to him as soon as possible, even though the deadline is in July....
I love to help in the community in any way....it sure makes me realize that my troubles are nothing compared to others, and that God touches my life in so many ways, that I can't help but feel blessed to pass along something to help others feel good too.
Details:
A2 is the preferred card size. That is half of a piece of 8.5 x 11 cardstock (Bazzill, of course!) cut into a 4.25″ x 5.5″ strip and folded.
It doesn’t have to be red, white and blue… it can be anything your heart desires as long as it is made with love!
Do not use glitter! Be careful the card does not become too bulky.
If you can send envelopes along with your cards, that would be appreciated. If not, Xpedx is going to be donating 20,000 envelopes to fill in the gaps.
Yes, sign it. Imagine Stephen going back to sign 180,000 cards! We need to save his hand so he can play sports in his free time.
Download the pdf entry form from the Creative Escape website, fill it in, and send one copy with every five cards. All the cards can be mailed together, but we will be using your paperwork to pull the name of the winner. You can fill it in once and make photocopies, if you’d like. For example, if you send 50 cards, include 10 entry forms.
Send as many cards as you would like!

Window card
I had something like this on my mind...to create a large window and then hang the die cut images from the edges of the window....
I used a nesties die to create my window and then the large leafy did and the BIRD punch to create my images...The bird was sponged, and also had a little yellow added by punching a teeny little piece of cardstock to create the beak.
adding a small strip of designer paper, and the BIRTHDAY wishes inside....

Papercrafting fun- Teeny Tote
I created my version of her tote...using all Stampin' Up! cardstock...I did cheat and added a non su die (the leafy leaves, which is slightly bigger than our leafy die, but close enough that it can be done with our die - especially since I cut the leaves apart).

Winter to Sweet Summer!
Sweet Summer
Can you think of Summer when it is still WINTER? Well, it is starting to warm up here in CA, and I love Summer! I love spring too, and it is just around the corner...the rains, are hopefully over, and the air is warming up. In fact, the other day, I almost pulled out my summer clothes (shorts and tshirts!) {almost}
This card was done on Very Vanilla, and stamped in black. I colored it with (prisma) color pencils and layered on Really Red, Crushed Curry (retired) and Old Olive
Stay tuned for more Sweet Summer cards...I was on a roll!!!!

I scream you scream!
I decided a few months ago, to start removing wall paper. But it is hard work and it does get tiring to scrape and wipe and scrape and toss out icky sticky wall paper...so.....
I decided to take my time with this and slowly remove the wall paper. (it is going slowly).
I found this blog from another demo. Laura Denison (followthepapertrail.blogspot.com) has a wonderful plethera of scrapbook, altered art and cards on her blog! I decided to take one of her Youtube demo's and make one of her cards myself! This is all done with a #10 (business envelope). I used Prisma color pencils and papers by Stampin' Up! The colors were inspired by the SAB Ice Cream Parlor Papers! Are they not the cutest and brightest?? Lots of areas to add photos or sentiments for a special birthday! :)
Have fun today! I sure did!

Zero Calorie, Zero Fat Cupcakes!
They are so easy to assemble and we're going to make them in my cupcake class! What a great way to use the Springtime Vintage Designer paper and fabric! They are all coordinating!

May all your wishes....
Today is a friend's birthday, and although she's receiving this card in the mail, I thought I would put it up even though all of it isn't SU. I did use Stampin' Up for the greetings because of course, Stampin' Up! has a great selection of greetings! (Love them!)
I added a close up because I used a glitter to highlight the strawberry..and the drops on the mouse, to look like he had all the strawberry juice all over his plump tummy!
Celebrate a special friend's day by making a card for them!
