Scoring your Cards - Blog Candy!

I use my Scor pal to score most of my projects. I know that this is NOT a SU product, but one of the discussions that has been going around is using the other brand that is out. What I do like about it, is that it has score lines at 1/8". I find that I do use a lot of different lines, but I wish this also had marks that shows the 1" grooves.

SALE A BRATION is going on right now, and what that means is that for every 50.00 in merchandise you purchase, you get a FREE ITEM! This set is one of the free items! I love how simple and cute this is, and even if you HATE coloring, you can do this! I was inspired by Mary Fish, who had a sample on her blog that had colors that were similar. I decided to take this a different way and use Crushed Curry cardstock along with Real Red, and Tempting Turquoise. The heart punch and the heart embossed scallop die compliment the card by adding dimension as well as the ribbon and the "happy birthday"....not to leave out the brads, (which are discontinued, but hey, I have to use stuff, rather than toss them out!)

I love to use my Scor Pal and my MS Scoring tool..and...I love the Olympics, I just wish I knew how they score points in Curling!!! ahhhaaa haa! The Olympics ends on Sunday...love the sports (all sports).

  3. I am way behind the times. I just got the Scor-Pal for Christmas - it was on my wish list. Now they have this one. Maybe I will get lucky and win this one as our Michael's doesn't have it yet!

  5. Cute Bento Box and lots of other wonderful ideas. Thank you!! Now that curling is over and medals have been awarded (Yay Canada!), here's a short explanation. Curling points are scored by counting the stones that are closest to the center of the rings. Only one team scores and they only count the stones that are closer than the opposing team's stones. Hope that helps for next time!
