Poppin' Window

I have a lot of stuff. I know...I love the catalog and all that is in it...and I've bought a lot! But this last year, I have really tried to use up my product and get as much as I can out of what I have!

I haven't used this paper much, but it is one of the Designer papers called Flock together. I do love the colors of the Tempting Turquoise and So Saffron, but I decided to punch up the Saffron and used the Crushed Curry instead.
The set I used was Simple Friendship, since I don't have the Bird on a Branch set that coordinates with this paper. You can use any set, so don't limit yourself by not using this paper, just because you don't want to get the stamp set too!
I used the re-inker paper towel technique to ink up the butterfly for this card. Using the colors Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron, and Garden Green.

This is a Pop Up Card but what I did was use punches to cut out the hole. I used the heart punch at the top and then at the bottom of the inner card. Then I used the TAB punch to cut out the center. I was trying to make it look like an ornament, which it 'sort of' does. I am not sure I am happy with it, but the insert inside pops out inside the opening. It is a strip of paper that is folded on the edges, and pops outward.
You can't place this at the fold, it has to be placed about midway through so it will pop and be able to be read.

This is the butterfly close up. You can see the tie-dye effect of the paper towel inking!
I added glitter with the 2-way glue to give the front of the card more 'POP'!
The word 'true friend' is stamped using the Bermuda Bay ink. The Crushed curry dotted ribbon helps to balance the colors.
