Ode to the Coluzzle

Ode to the Coluzzle and the evolution of the Circle Cutter...

I really love my coluzzle. I think that it was a great tool. I have had lots of circle cutters before. I remember the tall thing plastic thingy that had a blade that went around it...and it was sharp! And we had to cut it on GLASS! But, eeww, it was bulky and hard to transport to workshops! Then Fiskars came out with a circle cutter. It was cool, and I liked it too. They also had an oval cutter too. That wasn't as nice as the circle cutter, but it worked 'ok'.

Then Fiskars or EK Success came out with a circle scissors..and Stampin' Up carried it for awhile but most of my customers had a difficult time with it. It was ok, and I could use it, but then...it was discontinued!

So, we went to the Coluzzle...now, I guess, it has been discontinued by Provo Crafts. I have several of the circle, oval, envelope, etc shapes which I do love...but, now I have to get rid of these...sigh....and eventually, I will break down and get the NEW Circle Scissors...so bear with me..while I mourn yet another circle cutter! I will get the new one..soon I hope!
