Miniatures Treat Box Tutorial

Hershey's Miniature Treat Box (holds 8)

Cardstock
Sticky Strip
bone folder and scoring tool (either Scor-Pal or Fiskars Personal Trimmer with Score tool)

Cut cardstock - 5 9/16" x 6 1/8"

Score 1/2" and 1" around all 4 edges

Cut the corners and form the flaps on each of the 4 corners. Fold your box, and apply Sticky Strip to the flaps.
Fold down the first flap over the sides of the box after you have formed the box. The sticky strip is better to use so it will hold the box together.

After you have all the flaps down, you can then place your candies inside the box.

To form the sliding cover:
Cut your piece: 4 1/4" x 9 3/4"
Score at 3 5/8", 4 1/8", 7 13/16", 8 5/16"
I used my Stampin' Up! Fiskars Personal Trimmer because the Scor pal can't score these lines very accurately.
This will wrap around the box. Sorry for the bizarre measurements, but it needs to accomodate the thickness of the cardstock and slide on easy over the box.

Adhere the flap to the back of the box, and decorate as needed!

Another version of the same box, without decorated candies!

Now, you can try it!
