Jacob's Ladder

I love movement books, pop ups and fun interactive cards. This is one that I have been wanting to do, and try. I finally took a class from my upline, Kathy Pardee. It was so much fun, and now I am teaching it this weekend...finally. I need to do it again, so that more can come, but I also have to clean house up more...getting rid of stuff....I will take photos this weekend during the class so it can be posted to this site for show n tell!

I just finished an album for my co-worker, for her best friend's 50th Birthday! It was filled with photos from their days at school, and then getting together each year with family and friends...I now have to do one for her! But, it was fun to see it all come together and be finished! The Ribbons are tied to the binding and make it sparkle. Her favorite color is Red, but I used black pages, and Burgundy and Gold (they like USC) and accented it with the Green....!

Mini Bitty Board Books...try one soon!

Mini books are really fun to make and EASY with Stampin' Up!'s New Bitty Board Book Kits. There are 2 sizes to choose from, and they are easy to customize to your own ideas! The one I have shown here, is covered with Decorative Papers, and the book is covered using the Craft Ink. I covered the whole book with craft ink twice to make sure it was covered thoroughly. Then it had to dry. I think it took about 2 days for it to fully dry. Then I inked up the French Flair stamp and stamped that in Perfect Plum Craft Ink. It looks like brushed suede, and then inked up the little chipboard tag. I attached that with Sticky Strip, and tied a ribbon through to close it. It is large enough to put photos of your favorite friends (wallet size photos) great for an autograph book, special dates, and also your special Trading Cards. I haven't gotten into trading cards as of yet, but they are really cool ideas that can be shared without using alot of cardstock. I will also be doing mini scrapbooks in a jar...which I am almost done with my sample...as soon as it is done, I will have it on my blog....Hope to see you soon in a class!

This is a Mini Accordion Card Book that I made using the FANTASTIC New Papers 'Enchante' from Stampin' Up! They coordinate perfectly with the Cardstock and make wonderful gifts for family and friends. You can add photos or stamped images, or phrases to embellish your card! I added pockets for a surprise message to be opened by the recipient, MY MOM! I know she will like to get this card for Mother's day! (and I am ready for it --even if it is 3 months away!)

This was one of the displays at Ellison's booth at CHA! The paper was die cut, then assembled, and then they applied glue (spray) and then rolled the box in glitter to give it a shine!. The table was very festive and bright! Wouldn't you want to attend this party! I love the ideas they had at the show, and this booth was exceptional!
