Sweet and Simple cards with Moving Forward - Ronald McDonald House Stamp Set

I used the discontinued Scallops 2 die but I cut the die once, and then turned it slightly to make it look like a sun. I love this die, and I hope that SU will design something to cut scallops in all sizes...we'll have to see what happens in future catalogs!

Retiring - Just Believe

 

This set, Just Believe is retiring...before it goes, I wanted to share a card that I made with this set. 

It is using Michelle Zindorf's technique of masking and brayering..to create a lovely background!

I love how she incorporates torn pieces into the design. I changed her idea up a bit, but it still  has the same feel that her card created!

Flip top box Tutorial

Andrea Walford shared this project on her blog and on facebook, and I love the tutorial!

So I decided to put a link to it as well. I think this is a really cool box (like the old cigarette boxes with a flip top).  I think it would make a great card holder for a gift!

Artisan Embellishment CLASS

 Using this kit was a bit of a challenge because I am not usually a lacy card maker but this did appeal to me because it had a lot of good elements!  So I decided to give it a shot to make some nice fun projects with this kit!
