Just Believe Fun Card Class!

This is the most simple-ist card that is for next week's FUN CARD CLASS!  I used the Just Believe set, and cased it from the catalog (pg 77)

I stamped and punched the circles out, and then die cut the so saffron, stamped it with so saffron and then white ink and embossed.....

Love how this one came out!!!

Button Buddies

I LOVE POP UPS!
This is a pop up card that I'm doing next Saturday at my FUN CARD CLASS!!!  I love that it is so simple to do!  The Tissue box was created using a rectangle piece of cardstock and I glued designer paper on it to make it look pretty, and then the flowers to make someone sick...feel better...

don't you think they would be on the way to recovery after getting a card like this?

Perfectly...Preserved! Fun Cards!

I love FUN cards!

 This card is fun because it uses the window plastic (acetate) to create a window to look inside the card but yet it has pears inside the card like they would be if they were really inside the jar!  I started off by trying to create a shaker card but ended up with this because my shaker idea wasn't working very well. I am still looking at doing a shaker card (with cherries???)  maybe!

I stamped the jar on the acetate using STAZON ink and then the pears were stamped using Delightful Daffodil and Lucky Limeade. I used a tinge of Pumpkin Pie around the pear on the outside because it needed a bit of color on it!

Friendship Preserved

 I sometimes get stumped as to what to create and what colors to use and how to place things on cards, and so I look for inspiration...I found this card...IN THE CATALOG!  Wow....!!!  Actually, I wanted to use the templates for faux pin sewing and looked at the catty for inspiration.  I changed the colors a bit, and used texture where they didn't have texture, but I love how this came out!

Bright and cheery and love the fall colors....we have to start thinking that summer is almost over...actually I will be glad when the HUMIDITY is OVER!  It is exhausting to not sleep due to the humidity and I don't have A/C, although I do have a small window unit!!  It just isn't  $mart to u$e to A/C when you don't have a lot of money!!!

Altered aRt Canvas

So, I've been challenged to create art forms on canvas, and not wanting to use my "good" SU paper, I used some of my non-su papers to create aRt on canvas.  I really love that I used some of my punches from Stampin' Up! to create this canvas.   I took an online class from Stephanie Ackerman, and I love her style of altered art!  I still have a way to go, but this is only my first one. I am going to be doing more of these....

I used
Pennant punch, 1 3/4 circle punch, scallop punch and 3/4" circle punch, as well as the retired letters from the sizzlet strip (last years) alphabet.
